Hi!  My name is Misty and I am the founder of KenMar BridgePoint.

Before working with Veterinary practices, I was trained as an engineer—working inside the medical device and pharmaceutical industries, where mistakes are expensive, deadlines are real, and systems have to work under pressure.

That engineering background shaped how I approach financial leadership today:

• Break complex systems down into what actually matters
• Eliminate inefficiency instead of adding complexity
• Build processes that work even when the owner isn’t watching

Over the last several years, that same mindset has been applied to financial operations, not just numbers.

I’ve spent:

• 6 years as a licensed life insurance professional, helping owners understand long-term risk, protection, and decision tradeoffs
• 3+ years running a bookkeeping and financial operations business, where the real work wasn’t data entry—it was fixing broken systems, cleaning up chaos, and restoring control

My work goes far beyond bookkeeping.  I’ve helped:

• Clean up and stabilize financial records so owners could finally file on time
• Eliminate late filing stress, extensions, and unnecessary penalties
• Streamline internal processes that freed up leadership time and reduced wasted effort
• Implement systems that made teams more efficient, accountable, and less dependent on any one person
